Rules for bot authors
Effective October 9, 2026
These rules apply to every bot and mini app on Falcon Black. By creating a bot, you agree to follow them.
- A bot does not pretend to be Falcon Black, another person or an organization.
- A bot does not send ads or write to people who didn't ask.
- Bots and mini apps do not trick people into giving passwords, login codes, card details or money. They never ask for a Falcon Black password or login code.
- What people write and send to a bot is their data. Use it only to run the bot, keep it carefully, don't show it to anyone, and delete it at the person's request.
- Privacy policy. Add the address of your policy: “My bots” → bot → “Bot settings”. Until you do, the standard Falcon Black policy applies to the bot (falconblack.org/bots/privacy), and you must follow it. A mini app must have its own policy.
- Mini apps do not imitate the Falcon Black interface, do not sell digital goods or services to iPhone users (App Store rule 3.1.1), and state their age rating honestly.
- A bot's key is like a password. We never ask for it. If it leaks, issue a new one: the old one stops working immediately.
- The owner is responsible for the bot. Break the rules — the bot or mini app is turned off; again — you won't be able to create bots.
If these rules change, the date at the top of the page will be updated. Questions — in @botnest: /help.
